About the Rotary Club of the Galleria Area

The Rotary Club of the Galleria Area was chartered by Rotary International on June 7, 1973. The club is a part of Rotary International District 5890 which encompasses the greater Houston area.

The club and its membership have a tradition of SERVICE to the community and the world. In the 2003-2004 Rotary Year the club received the District Governor's Distinguished Club Award recognizing that the Rotary Club of the Galleria Area had grown a larger percentage of its members into District leaders than any other District club.

Meeting Day, Location & Parking

The Club meets every Monday, 12:00 noon, at the HESS Club, 5430 Westheimer at Westheimer Way, one block west of Yorktown."  You may either park under cover in the garage parking directly in front of the building, or surface park on the side of the building.

Each year on July 1st, every Rotary Club around the world changes all of its officers and Committee Chairs. This has been called one of the largest voluntary surrenders of management ever seen. Here you can find a listing of our current Club Officers and Committee Chairs.
